Both Kindergardens and school groups are very wellcome at Øregaard Museum.

 

Through tours, workshops and lively talks led by the gallery educators, pupils can explore the special exhibition and the historic building and increase their understanding of art and history. The sessions are dialogue-based and take place in the exhibitions area.

 

Kindergardens

We provide guided tours for kindergartens with the accent on good stories. We aim to use the childrens personal experience as a starting point to engange with art.

Duration: Guided tours take approx. 30 minutes
Price: 400 kr. for max. 15 children

Primary and secondary schools, grades 1-10

High school (age 15-18), HF and VUC

 

Tours are based on requirements and class level; e.g. they can be based on a theme of specific, philosophical or contemporary character. We aim to use discussion and debate to share ideas and help the pupils to develop critical, conceptual and analytical skills.

 

Duration: Guided tours take about an hour
Price: 450 DKK for max. 28 students
